About Me.I believe everyone has the innate ability and desire to have a fulfilling life. I see therapy as a healing conversation that provides clients with a safe, non-judgmental place to express their challenges, and help them to rediscover their strengths, talents and resources. My intention is to create a collaborative partnership that enables individuals to move away from judgment and self-blame, and support them in finding solutions that are consistent with their values and beliefs. Whatever it is that brings you to counseling, together we can overcome self-doubt and obstacles to create the healthiest version of yourself.
I graduated with my Masters in Social Work at ASU in 2000. The next 10 years I gained invaluable experience working at a non-profit providing counseling at the scene of late-night mental health crises. I have also taught several cultural diversity and crisis intervention courses at the college level. I am a person of color (my parents are immigrants) and a LGBTQIA+ ally. For fun, I love to travel, be in nature, go to indie rock shows and snuggle with my rescue pup named Winston.
